Wendel Clark played for the Maple Leafs on three separate occasions and quickly became a fan favourite because of his hard-nosed style of hockey and his willingness to drop the gloves with the NHL’s toughest players. Despite his size, Wendel Clark held his own against much larger opponents. He is also known for the ability to change the complexion of a game by delivering bone-jarring hits which earned him the nickname ‘Captain Crunch’.
